BGaming is known for delivering games with fun, slightly quirky themes, and Wild Moon Thieves is no exception. This slot plunges you into a mysterious, moonlit heist where a crew of critters is after big rewards. What really sets this game apart from the standard video slot is its intricate dual bonus structure. How to Play Wild Moon Thieves

Wild Moon Thieves is played on a standard 5-reel, 3-row grid featuring 25 winning lines. To collect a win, you'll need to match at least three identical symbols across one of these lines, starting from the leftmost reel. The symbols themselves are a mix of low-value royals and high-value, themed items related to the thieves' operation. The main objective during your regular play is to land the special Scatter symbols to trigger the Free Spins bonus or collect enough Coin/Iced Gem symbols to kick off the Respin feature. This dual focus keeps the action engaging, as you’re always on the lookout for two different bonus triggers.

Game Features

The game truly shines when you enter one of its two major bonus rounds. Landing three Scatter symbols (often represented by a key character or vehicle) initiates the Free Spins game, but there's a mini-game twist first: a unique "door selection" round where you click on doors to determine how many Sticky Wild symbols will be active during your spins. Once in the Free Spins, these Sticky Wilds remain locked in place, potentially helping to complete many combinations. The second major feature is a Hold and Win style bonus, triggered by landing six or more Coin or Iced Gem symbols. This round gives you three respins to start, with special symbols that can reset the count. These symbols include Sticky Moon Multipliers (up to 100x), the Collector (which gathers all visible values), the Booster (which increases random multiplier values), and the Cleaner (which collects values and then turns into a new Moon symbol to display the sum). You also have the option to play the feature directly, bypassing the regular play to jump straight into the high-action Free Spins or Coin Respin rounds. And like with the other BGaming title Gemza, this slot appears as a Christmas Special during the festive period.

Our Verdict

We really enjoyed the varied gameplay offered by Wild Moon Thieves. The unique feature of having two separate major bonus rounds—one focusing on Wilds and the other on multipliers and collection via Hold and Win—prevents the game from ever feeling repetitive. While the Hold and Win feature can be complex with all the Booster and Cleaner symbols flying around, it's where the biggest action happens and offers fantastic collecting potential. The dual bonus structure means there’s always something exciting to chase, whether it’s the Sticky Wilds in Free Spins or the jackpot multipliers in the Hold and Win round.
