Vikings Creed is a high volatility slot, designed for players who chase substantial prizes, accepting the risk of fewer base game hits. The Return to Player (RTP) is a strong 96.02%, which is considered average. It is played on a standard 5-reel, 3-row layout with 20 fixed win-lines. The maximum potential prize is 5,000 times the value of your play, offering a solid target for the high-variance action.

How to Play Vikings Creed

The game is played on a classic 5-reel, 3-row grid with 20 fixed win-lines. To secure a prize, you need to match symbols across these lines, starting from the leftmost reel. The symbols feature Viking warriors, ships, and other Nordic items.

The Wild symbol is represented by the Viking warrior and substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter. Crucially, the Viking Wild symbol is a Walking Wild, which triggers a free respin and moves one position to the left with each spin until it leaves the reels. Landing three Scatter symbols (the raven) is required to launch the main Free Spins bonus.

Gameplay and Bonuses

The core feature is the Walking Wild Respin in the base game. When a Viking Wild lands, it not only substitutes for other symbols but also awards a multiplier of x2 on any prize it is part of. It then grants a free respin and moves one reel to the left, repeating the process until it moves off the first reel. This feature extends the play and increases prize potential frequently.

Landing three Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins feature, awarding 6 free plays. During the free spins, the Wild symbols become Expanding Wilds, growing to cover their entire reel when they land, and then granting a further respin as they walk across the screen. This combination of expanding and walking wilds is where the biggest prizes are found.

Our Verdict

Vikings Creed is a fantastic, high-energy slot that keeps the action moving constantly. I really enjoyed the combination of the Walking Wilds and the subsequent free respins in the base game, which breaks up the high-volatility play. The enhancement of this feature with Expanding Wilds in the Free Spins round is where the game truly shines.

The high volatility and respectable 96.02% RTP are well-suited for chasing that 5,000x max prize. If you enjoy Viking-themed slots that focus heavily on Wild features that lead to multiple consecutive wins, this is a great choice.
