Sun of Egypt by 3 Oaks Gaming is an ancient Egypt-themed online slot that combines a classic visual style with modern Hold and Win mechanics. Set against a desert backdrop featuring pyramids and golden relics, the game centers around bonus symbols, free spins, and fixed jackpots.

The slot is played on a 5-reel, 3-row layout with 25 fixed ways to form winning combinations. The symbols reflect the theme, including scarabs, golden masks, ankhs, pharaohs, and royal card values. The Wild symbol appears as a fiery sun, substituting for regular symbols to complete winning combinations. The Scatter symbol, represented by a pyramid, triggers the free spins round.

The Free Spins Bonus activates when three or more Scatters land on the reels, awarding eight free spins. During the bonus round, only high-value symbols appear, increasing the chance of forming more valuable combinations.

A major highlight is the Hold and Win Bonus, triggered by landing six or more Bonus symbols in one spin. This feature awards three respins, during which only Bonus symbols appear and lock in place. Each new Bonus symbol resets the spin count. Players can also land Mini, Minor, or Grand jackpot symbols during this round, with the Grand jackpot awarded for filling all positions.

Sun of Egypt features medium volatility and a return to player (RTP) of 95.3%, offering balanced gameplay with the potential for significant rewards through its bonus rounds and jackpots.
