Fantasma have a habit of coming up with some unusual themes for their slots, but they are going fully traditional with this one. Santa's Golden Christmas is a lively holiday slot that puts a spin on the classic theme which is always welcome during festive season. This game stands out right away due to its unusual 720 ways to win layout, featuring reels in a 3−3−4−4−5 pattern. As a medium volatility title, it offers a great balance between steady action and the chase for multiple fixed jackpots through Santa's Jackpot Wheel.

How to Play Santa's Golden Christmas

Santa's Golden Christmas is built on a unique 3−3−4−4−5 reel configuration, which creates 720 ways to collect prizes by matching symbols on adjacent columns from left to right. To start, just pick a play value and hit the spin button to send the sleigh across the reels. The symbols are all festive, including Santa, elves, reindeer, and colorful presents. The game's main goal is collecting Snowflake symbols or Bonus symbols. The Snowflakes are key to launching the jackpot feature, while four Bonus symbols are necessary to open the enhanced Free Spins round.

Gameplay and Bonuses

The biggest feature is the Free Spins round, which is triggered by landing Bonus symbols on four reels. This bonus is combined with a special Hold and Win feature. When a column is filled with collected coin prizes during the respins, that column clears, resets the position, and increases the Free Spin Multiplier (up to x10). This multiplier is then applied to all cash prizes collected when the feature ends, dramatically boosting your potential collection. Any Snowflake symbol can also randomly trigger Santa's Jackpot Wheel, which guarantees you win one of five different fixed jackpot prizes. If available, players can also opt to play the feature directly.

Our Verdict

The game is perfect for combining holiday visuals with some intense prize collection features. The medium volatility is great because the 720 ways to win give plenty of action, and the jackpot wheel can pop up at any time to award one of the five fixed prizes. The true thrill, however, is in the Free Spins, where filling a column clears it to increase that escalating prize multiplier. I found the unique blend of the Christmas theme and the innovative column-clearing bonus feature to be a genuine joy.
