How to Play Mad Hit Supernova

Getting started with this space adventure is straightforward. The game uses a 5-reel, 5-row setup that offers 3,125 different winning lines, meaning matching symbols can land in numerous combinations across the grid. Adjust your desired amount using the plus and minus buttons before hitting the spin button to set the reels in motion. An autoplay option is available for those who prefer a more relaxed experience, and turbo mode speeds things up for faster-paced sessions.

The symbol lineup includes traditional card values (J through A) as the lower-value icons, colorful crystalline gems in the middle tier, and various spaceship designs as the premium symbols. Special symbols include the Mad Hit wild, which substitutes for regular symbols and serves as the key to unlocking most features, along with Prize symbols that display different values or free spin quantities.

Gameplay and Bonuses

The Mad Hit symbol sits at the heart of this game's feature set. When it appears in the center position, it becomes the catalyst for multiple bonus opportunities. Landing it alongside a Prize symbol triggers the Mad Hit Instant Win, awarding whatever value the Prize symbol displays on the spot.

The Free Games round activates when the Mad Hit symbol lands with one or more Free Spin values, awarding anywhere from 5 to 20 free spins depending on the Prize symbol values. During this round, the Mad Hit symbol remains locked in place, dramatically increasing the chances of hitting additional winning combinations and retriggering more free spins.

The Jackpot Pick Deluxe feature represents the game's biggest opportunity. When a Prize symbol showing a jackpot diamond appears alongside the Mad Hit symbol, players enter a picking game where they select from 12 prize symbols to reveal one of four fixed jackpots: Mini (x10), Minor (x15), Major (x50), or Grand (x500). A random multiplier of up to x10 can also apply to these jackpot values, potentially pushing wins even higher.

For those who want immediate access to the Free Games round, there's an option to play the feature directly for 100x the current play amount, bypassing the base game entirely.

Our Verdict

Mad Hit Supernova delivers solid entertainment value with its balanced approach. The medium volatility makes it accessible for players who want regular action without extreme swings, while the 96.3% RTP sits comfortably in the average range for modern slots. The visual design impresses with its neon-drenched cosmic aesthetic and electronic soundtrack that suits the theme perfectly.

The standout element here is the layered feature system centered around the Mad Hit symbol. Having one special symbol trigger multiple different bonuses keeps things interesting and creates anticipation with each spin. The locked wild during free spins adds a strategic element that can lead to consecutive wins, and the potential for multiple Jackpot Pick Deluxe features in a single spin adds an exciting layer of possibility.

On the downside, the x5,000 maximum win potential might feel modest compared to some competing titles that offer much higher multipliers. Players chasing massive wins might find the ceiling somewhat limiting. The base game can also feel relatively quiet between feature triggers, though the medium volatility does help maintain a decent rhythm.

The 3,125 ways to win creates plenty of opportunities for smaller wins that keep the action flowing, and the variety of bonus features ensures there's always something different to anticipate. This cosmic slot provides dependable entertainment for anyone who appreciates space-themed games with well-balanced features.
