How to Play Mad Hit Diamonds

Getting started with this gemstone adventure is easy due to the 5x3 layout. To secure a win, you need to land matching symbols on three or more adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost side. Because the game uses 243 ways to win, you do not have to worry about specific winning lines or win-lines. The symbols are a bright collection of classic items, including gold bars, bells, and various fruits alongside the high value diamonds.

The Mad Hit symbol is the key to the most active parts of the game. When this symbol lands on the middle reel, it acts as a collector for any prize icons visible on the board. The Wild symbol also appears to help complete your combinations by substituting for regular icons. For something completely different, Crazy Bomber is a slot you may not be familiar with - give it a spin, we think you'll like it!

Gameplay and Bonuses

The true energy of Mad Hit Diamonds is found in the Mad Hit feature and the Free Spins round. The Mad Hit icon only appears on the third reel, and when it lands alongside prize symbols, it instantly collects all the values shown. These values can include multipliers or even one of the four fixed jackpot prizes: Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand.

The Free Spins feature is triggered when the Mad Hit symbol lands at the same time as a Scatter symbol. During these spins, the Mad Hit icon stays locked on the middle reel for the entire duration of the bonus. This significantly increases the potential for a large haul because every prize symbol that lands on any spin is automatically collected.

Additionally, the game features an upgrade system where diamonds can expand to cover more positions on the grid. For those who want to jump straight to the heart of the action, you can use the play the feature option to access the bonus rounds immediately. This combination of a locked collector symbol and tiered jackpot prizes ensures that the gameplay stays fresh and rewarding throughout your session.

Our Verdict

Mad Hit Diamonds is a very polished and high quality game that I found to be a lot of fun during my time with it. I personally liked the way the Mad Hit symbol stays fixed in the middle during the free spins because it makes every single spin feel like it has huge potential. The graphics are very sharp and the upbeat electronic soundtrack really fits the neon gem theme perfectly. While the maximum win of 1,248x is lower than some high risk titles, I found the frequency of the collection feature to be very satisfying.

I believe the 243 ways to win system is a pro for anyone who finds traditional win-lines a bit too restrictive. It is a solid and well executed title from Ruby Play that captures the luxury and energy of a high tech diamond hunt. If you are looking for a reliable and visually appealing game with a unique collection structure, this glowing grid is a fantastic choice.
