Immortal Ways: Volcano offers a very competitive RTP of 96.29%, which is great for players who appreciate a fair return over longer sessions. The volatility is rated as medium-high, meaning there is a nice balance between regular wins and the chance to hit those big eruptions. Instead of using traditional win-lines, this game boasts a massive 10,000 ways to win across its 6-reel layout. The top prize is capped at 3,221 times the value of your play. We have a fantastic selection of Immortal Ways slots for you here at PlayFame, including Immortal Ways: Buffalo and Immortal Ways: Cleopatra, to name just a couple.

How to Play Immortal Ways: Volcano

Navigating this lava-filled landscape is a unique experience. The reels are arranged in a 4-5-5-5-5-4 formation, and you secure a win by landing matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost side. With 10,000 ways to win, you don't need to track specific line patterns; if they touch across the reels, you win. The symbols feature various prehistoric creatures like triceratops and velociraptors, alongside glowing lava stones.

The standout feature of the layout is the two central "Immortal Arrays." These are special zones covering reels two through five. When coin symbols land here, they lock in place for three spins. If you land more coins in that zone, the timer resets, giving you a chance to fill the entire array with prize values. This collection system makes the base game feel very active. If you enjoy games that focus on "holding" certain symbols, you should check out Clover Supreme Hold and Win.

Gameplay and Bonuses

The true power of the volcano is found in the Immortal Ways feature. As you play, coins with random values or specific jackpot labels can land in the two central arrays. To collect these prizes, you need to land a "Collect" symbol on either the first or sixth reel. This will instantly grant you all the values currently held in the corresponding array, including the Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand jackpots.

The Free Spins round is triggered by landing three or more Scatter symbols. During this feature, the game gets even more intense because any coin that lands in an Immortal Array stays there for the whole duration of the bonus round, rather than resetting after three spins. This makes it much easier to build up a massive hoard of prizes. Additionally, a Wheel Feature can trigger when you land the wheel symbol in an array, offering multipliers or direct jackpot wins. For those who want to jump straight to the molten rewards, a 'play the feature' option is available to enter the bonus game immediately for a set value.

Our Verdict

Immortal Ways: Volcano is a brilliant addition to the Ruby Play lineup. I personally found the combination of the dinosaur theme and the 10,000 ways to win to be very refreshing. The "Immortal Array" system adds a great layer of strategy to the base game, as you are always hoping for that Collect symbol to land before the three-spin timer runs out.

The visual effects during a win are snappy, and the sound of the lava bubbling in the background really sets the mood. While the medium-high volatility might require some patience, the 96.29% RTP feels very generous. I believe this slot is perfect for anyone who wants a prehistoric adventure with modern, feature-rich gameplay. It’s a well-designed and polished game that manages to feel unique in a crowded market. If you are a fan of collection-style slots with a high-stakes feel, this one is definitely worth a spin.
