Play GoodFishes by Revolver Gaming

Dive into a hilarious underwater mob story with GoodFishes, a clever and stylish slot developed by Revolver Gaming. This game offers a funny parody of classic gangster films, but with a cast of tough-looking fish instead of human wise guys. Revolver Gaming is known for their high-quality 3D animations and creative storytelling, which are both on full display here. The theme is a unique mix of fishing and crime drama, set in a world of underwater dark alleys and coral hideouts. If you love a good parody, you might also want to try Shark Frenzy or Coin Crusher Hold and Win.

GoodFishes features a solid Return to Player (RTP) of 96.00%, putting it right in line with many of the top titles available today. The volatility is rated as medium, which is great for players who like a consistent flow of action without waiting too long for a prize. The game is played on a standard 5-reel, 3-row grid and offers 30 fixed win-lines for forming combinations. While the maximum prize is a bit lower than some high-risk games at 1,000 times your play value, the frequency of the bonus features makes the session feel very active. How to Play GoodFishes

The action takes place on a classic 5x3 layout with 30 fixed win-lines. To secure a win, you need to match three or more symbols along one of these lines, starting from the leftmost reel. The symbols are full of character, featuring different fish mobsters like "The Don" and his colorful crew of henchmen, alongside lower-value card icons decorated with ocean plants.

The Wild symbol is represented by the game logo and can substitute for any regular symbol to help you complete your winning lines. There is also a special "Sticky Wild" feature that can appear during specific rounds. To enter the main bonus features, you will need to land three or more "Frankie the Fish" scatter symbols. These scatters are your ticket to the big house where the real rewards are kept. The interface is very user-friendly, allowing you to jump straight into this fishy underworld.

Gameplay and Bonuses

The true personality of this slot shines through in its bonus rounds. When you land three or more Scatters, you are taken to a "Line Up" screen where you choose one of several different Free Spins modes. Each choice offers a different combination of spins and multipliers, allowing you to decide how you want to play the round.

During the free spins, the Frankie’s Fish Trap feature can activate. In this mode, specific fish symbols that land on the reels become trapped and turn into Wilds for the duration of the round. These sticky Wilds can quickly fill the screen, making it much easier to hit multiple winning lines at once.

Another highlight is the Graveyard Bonus, a pick-and-click game where you help the mob "dispose" of evidence by selecting different items to reveal instant prizes. For players who want to get straight to the "business," a 'play the feature' option allows you to enter the bonus selection screen immediately for a set value. The variety of choices in the free spins ensures that no two bonus rounds feel the same.

Our Verdict

GoodFishes is one of the more unique slots I have spent time with recently. The humor is spot on, and the 3D graphics still look fantastic despite being a slightly older release. I personally found the medium volatility to be a nice change of pace, as the wins feel frequent enough to keep the energy high. The ability to choose your own free spins volatility is a feature I always appreciate, as it lets you tailor the game to your mood.

Players on community forums often comment on how much they enjoy the character designs and the graveyard pick-and-click bonus. While the x1,000 top prize might not satisfy those looking for massive high-risk totals, it is a very fun and polished title for anyone who values entertainment and creative themes. If you like slots that don't take themselves too seriously but still offer plenty of ways to win, this underwater mob hit is definitely worth a spin. It’s a very high-quality effort from Revolver Gaming that remains a fan favorite.
