Fish Tales Halloween offers a competitive RTP of 96.10% and features high volatility. This balance is designed for players who appreciate the tension of building toward a significant haul. The game unfolds on a standard 5-reel, 3-row grid and utilizes 20 fixed win-lines for your combinations. How to Play Fish Tales Halloween

Setting off on this haunted fishing trip is simple on the 5x3 grid. To secure a win, you need to match three or more identical symbols along one of the 20 fixed win-lines, starting from the leftmost reel. The symbols are a creepy collection of undead fish and holiday icons, all rendered with a sharp, professional finish that makes the screen pop.

The Fisherman acts as the Wild symbol and can substitute for regular icons to help complete your win-lines. A unique part of the play is the Money Collect system; certain fish symbols land with specific prize values already attached. While these symbols don't always form standard winning lines, they are the key to the game's biggest rewards. If you enjoy games that feature high-quality art and straightforward win-lines, The Easter Catch is another title worth exploring on the site.

Gameplay and Bonuses

The true energy of Fish Tales Halloween is found in the way its collection features interact with the ghostly symbols. The game features a Money Collect system where the fisherman reels in any prize-bearing fish symbols that land at the same time he does. There is also a Free Spins round, triggered by landing three or more Bobber Scatters. During this mode, the fisherman becomes even more active, and the "Monster Bass" can appear as a full-reel stack to provide massive multipliers.

As you collect more Fisherman symbols during the free rounds, you progress along a multiplier bar. This bar can grant extra spins and increase the multiplier for any collected fish prizes up to 10x. Additionally, the Fishnet Modifier can trigger randomly, adding extra prize symbols to the grid to increase your collection potential. For those who want to jump straight to the haunted action, you can use the 'play the feature' menu to go straight to the free spins round. This combination of symbol collection and growing multipliers ensures that the search for the monster bass is always full of surprises.

Our Verdict

Fish Tales Halloween is a very polished and high-quality game that I found to be a great seasonal update. I personally liked the way the "Monster Bass" was reimagined for the theme; seeing a terrifying, zombified fish take over a whole reel adds a lot of character to the bonus round. The 5,000x top prize potential is quite solid for a high-volatility title, and the animations are as smooth as I have come to expect from Booming Games.

While the high volatility might require a bit of patience during the base game, I believe the progression meter in the free spins adds a lot of replay value because you always want to see if you can reach that 10x multiplier level. It is a professional and well-executed title that manages to make a spooky theme feel very rewarding. I believe this slot is perfect for anyone who wants a holiday game that balances a fun atmosphere with significant prize potential. If you are looking for a reliable way to enjoy the Halloween season with some high-energy play, this haunted pond is an excellent choice.
