How to Play Energy Coins Hold and Win

Energy Coins Hold and Win is played on a standard 5 x 3 reel set with 5 fixed winning lines. To start, you simply select your play value and spin. The standard symbols are the classic fruits, bells, and BARs.

The primary goal is landing the special Bonus Coins (gold) or Energy Bonus Coins (blue); you need six or more of these in any combination to launch the main bonus round. There’s also a valuable Wild symbol (the red 7) that helps complete your standard winning combinations.

Gameplay and Bonuses

The main excitement happens in the Hold and Win Bonus Game, which is triggered when you land six or more Bonus or Energy Bonus Coins. All triggering coins lock into place, and you start with three respins, which reset every time a new special coin lands. The key difference here is the Energy Bonus Coin (blue).

When this special coin lands, it acts like a magnet, collecting the values of all other visible Bonus Coins and fixed Jackpot Symbols on the reels before adding their total to its own value.

This collection feature adds a big layer of excitement to every respin! The round features four fixed jackpots, including the top Grand Jackpot of x5,000, which is won by filling all 15 positions on the grid.

You also have a chance to randomly activate the Pile of Gold feature in the base game, which guarantees enough bonus symbols to launch the Hold and Win round.

Our Verdict

This slot is fantastic because it takes the simplicity of a classic fruit machine and turbocharges the bonus experience.

The core Hold and Win feature is instantly understandable, and the addition of the Energy Bonus Coin makes the collection process feel much more active and rewarding.

The high volatility means you might have to wait for those big features, but the sheer prize potential of collecting boosted coins and chasing the Grand Jackpot makes the anticipation completely worth it.
