Fantasma Games invites players to Asgard for a high-action, Norse-themed quest in Coins of Thor Hold and Win. This slot, like their earlier release Thor Power Coins, centers around the thunder god, but focuses heavily on collecting hammer symbols to trigger a special version of the popular Hold and Win feature. The game uses a classic 5×3 grid structure but features high volatility and powerful collecting symbols, making it a demanding yet potentially rewarding title for players chasing big fixed prizes.

How to Play Coins of Thor Hold and Win

Coins of Thor Hold and Win is set on a 5×3 grid with prizes collected along fixed winning lines from left to right. To start, simply choose a play value and hit the spin button. The primary collection symbols are various golden artifacts and Norse-themed icons, while the Scatter symbols trigger the Free Spins. The key element is landing the Thor's Hammer Coin and Thor's Hammer Magnet symbols; landing six or more of these is the only way to activate the main Hold and Win feature. The high volatility suggests that patience is a definite plus here.

Gameplay and Bonuses

The main attraction is the Thor's Hammer Hold and Win feature, triggered by six or more coin/magnet symbols. This bonus starts with 3 respins, and any new coin symbol that lands resets the counter. The powerful Thor's Hammer Magnet collects the value of all visible coins around it, maximizing your prize collection before the Magnet turns into a collected coin itself. You can collect four fixed jackpots—Mini, Minor, Major, and MEGA—during this round. Additionally, landing three Scatter symbols triggers Free Spins, during which the middle reels (2,3, and 4) combine into a Mega Symbol that counts as nine individual high-paying positions, providing massive prize potential. If available, players can also opt to play the feature directly.

Our Verdict

This slot is definitely geared toward players who enjoy the high risk and reward of the Hold and Win system, especially with that generous 40% hit frequency for the regular winning lines. I especially enjoyed the Thor's Hammer Magnet, which turns a regular Hold and Win round into a collection frenzy, and the Mega Symbol in the Free Spins round offers massive prize potential on every spin. This is a powerful slot game, as befitting the famous Norse god.
