If you are anything like me, then your first question about this game will be: what is a corsair? The answer is 'a pirate', only here the pirates are also pilots.

Here Fantasma Games invites you to take flight with Cloud Corsairs, a unique, imaginative slot that mixes fantasy and steampunk pirate themes high above the clouds. This visually striking title uses a classic 5×3 grid but adds a bonus Multiplier Reel on the side, creating exciting opportunities to boost prizes on every collected win. Fantasma is known for its inventive game features, and this medium-high volatility adventure features a cool Respin feature with an accumulating multiplier.

How to Play Cloud Corsairs

Cloud Corsairs is played on a main 5×3 grid, complemented by a vertical Multiplier Reel on the right side. The game features 27 fixed winning lines and collects prizes from both left-to-right and right-to-left during the Free Spins feature. To start, simply choose your play value and spin the reels. The primary symbols are various jewels and the crew of airship pirates. The most important symbol is the Zeppelin, which acts as a key to triggering the valuable Respin feature, and the Bonus symbol is what launches the main Free Spins round.

Gameplay and Bonuses

The most exciting feature in the base game is the Zeppelin Respin Feature, which is activated whenever you collect a winning combination that includes the Zeppelin symbol. When this happens, the winning Zeppelin symbols lock into place, and you are awarded a respin. Any new Zeppelin symbols that land also lock, and more importantly, the multipliers on the special side reel are added up, with the total accumulating up to x50. This multiplier is then applied to the final collected prize. Landing three or more Bonus symbols triggers the Free Spins round, which pays both ways and can eventually lead to the Super Free Spins Hold-and-Respin bonus for even bigger win potential. If available, players can also opt to play the feature directly.

Our Verdict

I really liked how Cloud Corsairs combines reliable, familiar gameplay with a creative twist, thanks to the Multiplier Reel. The mid-to-high volatility makes the game exciting, as the accumulated multiplier during the Zeppelin Respins can lead to huge collection sequences when it finally hits. The combination of the unique steampunk visual style and the accumulating prize multiplier definitely makes this a slot I enjoyed a lot more than I expected to.
