Chosen by the Gods is a medium-to-high volatility slot, meaning it strikes a balance between steady base game action and the potential for larger prizes during its specialized features. If you enjoy the sands of Egypt, you might also like Horus Treasure, Valley of the Gods, or Shrine of Anubis.

How to Play Chosen by the Gods

The game is played on a standard 5x3 layout with 15 fixed win-lines. To secure a win, you need to land three or more matching symbols on one of these lines, starting from the leftmost reel. Symbols include iconic Egyptian imagery like scarabs, ancient artifacts, and Cleopatra herself.

The Scarab acts as the Wild symbol, substituting for regular icons to help complete your winning lines. Cleopatra serves as the Scatter symbol, and landing three or more of her anywhere on the reels will trigger the Free Spins round. Additionally, landing six or more Bonus symbols (glowing orbs) will launch the separate Bonus Game. The straightforward setup makes it easy to jump right in and start searching for Cleopatra's riches.

Gameplay and Bonuses

Chosen by the Gods is packed with multi-layered bonus features. The Free Spins round starts with 8 spins when triggered by Cleopatra Scatters. During this mode, every new Cleopatra symbol that lands awards one extra spin and increases the multiplier of all Wild symbols by x1. This progressive multiplier can lead to significantly boosted prizes as the feature continues.

The Bonus Game is a tiered collection feature triggered by landing six or more Bonus symbols. It consists of three distinct levels:

Level 1: You need to collect 15 Bonus symbols within your allocated spins to move forward.
Level 2: Collecting 12 more symbols unlocks the final level.
Level 3: If you collect 10 Bonus symbols here, you win the EPIC jackpot of 5,000x your play.

For players who prefer immediate access to these divine rewards, a 'play the feature' option is available to jump straight into the action.

Our Verdict

Chosen by the Gods is a highly polished slot that successfully elevates the classic Egyptian theme with modern bonus systems. I really liked the tiered structure of the Bonus Game, as it adds a sense of progression and excitement as you try to reach that final jackpot level. The Wild multipliers in the Free Spins also keep the tension high, especially since they can keep growing.

The strong 96.04% RTP and medium-high volatility provide a play experience that is both engaging and potentially rewarding. While some might find 15 win-lines a bit traditional, the layered features and the chase for the 5,000x EPIC jackpot more than make up for it. If you enjoy Cleopatra-themed games and appreciate multiple ways to hit high-value bonuses, I think this title is a fantastic choice for your next session.
