Gameplay and Feature Rounds

The true magic of this festive title is found within its multiple feature rounds, which turn a snowy day in the forest into a highly rewarding standoff. Players can explore various themes on PlayFame, but this Christmas slot remains highly popular due to its intense multipliers.

First, standard Wild symbols can land on reels 2, 3, and 4 with x2 or x3 multipliers. If multiple multiplier Wilds align on a winning winline, their multiplier values are added together to deliver major boosts to your rewards.

Additionally, the Old Betty Wild symbol can land on the first and fifth reels. When she activates, she unleashes up to 9 Beer Wilds onto the three central reels. If a Beer Wild lands on a position already holding a Wild, a multiplier is applied to that position, increasing by +1 for every subsequent Wild that lands on it.

If Scatter symbols land on reels 2, 3, and 4 but fail to trigger the main free spins round, the Tractor feature activates. This converts those Scatter symbols into individual Wilds, giving you a valuable second chance to complete winning winlines.

Landing three Scatter symbols on the middle reels triggers the Free Spins game, rewarding you with 10 free spins. During this round, any Beer Wild that lands on reels 2, 3, and 4 becomes sticky and remains locked in place for the rest of the feature round. Furthermore, the Old Betty Wild upgrades to a Gold Betty Wild. Gold Betty is also sticky and guarantees to add extra Beer Wilds onto the central reels on every single free spin.

If you want to bypass the base game, you can use the option to play the feature directly through the game's Fast Track menu, which immediately triggers the Free Spins round or other special modes. There is also an Xtra-Bet option, which increases your spin cost by 50% to boost your chances of triggering the free spins naturally by 2.5x.

Our Verdict

This game is an exceptional sequel and holiday upgrade, improving on its popular predecessor by fine-tuning the math model for an even more exciting experience. Slotmill has done an outstanding job of maintaining the charm of the quirky hillbilly characters while increasing the max win potential up to a massive 15,000x your spin value. The combination of sticky multiplier Wilds in the Free Spins round and the erratic wild-adding potential of Old Betty ensures that every play feels alive. The visual upgrade is clean and delightful, with excellent seasonal sound design to match. It is a highly satisfying, high-volatility ride that stands out as one of the top holiday-themed choices on our platform.
