Note that all values are automatically calculated relative to your chosen play value, and the special gold wild symbol can substitute for any of these standard symbols to help complete winning patterns.

Gameplay and Bonuses

The primary gameplay loop in Bountiful Birds bypasses a typical free spins round in favor of an exceptionally creative collector mechanic centered around three distinct types of bird-food bags: Red, Green, and Blue. Landing these bags during base spins feeds their matching colored bird perched at the top of the grid. Any collection has a random chance of triggering the respective feature, and you can even trigger multiple features simultaneously for a combined super round.

Jackpot Respins Feature (Blue Bag): Triggered by the blue bag, this round awards 3 lives, representing the number of respins you have to play. The grid clears to reveal only empty spaces and prize coins or jackpot tags. Landing a new coin resets your lives counter back to three. Collecting special jackpot coins can award one of the four fixed jackpots: Mini (15x), Minor (50x), Major (500x), or the Grand Jackpot, which delivers a massive 10,000x your play value.
Cash Collect Feature (Green Bag): This feature activates when the green bird is triggered. Special cash-valued bags are added to the reels, and landing a golden collect symbol on the same spin instantly gathers and awards all values currently displayed on the screen.
Connector Feature (Red Bag): Triggered by the red bird, this round starts a specialized respin feature utilizing a connector and multiplier board. When symbols connect along highlighted lines, their rewards are significantly enhanced by increasing multiplier values, driving massive win potential.

What makes Bountiful Birds spectacular is the overlap mechanic. If you land multiple bags that trigger at the same time, the special features combine on a single set of reels. Triggering all three birds at once launches the ultimate super round, where the Cash Collect, Connector multipliers, and Jackpot Respins are all active simultaneously.

Additionally, players who want to jump straight into the action can choose to play the feature directly by using the selection controls on the screen, instantly triggering a random combination of the bird features. Whether you enjoy spinning in the morning or playing around 6-7pm (PT), this high-volatility slot keeps every round dynamic.

Our Verdict

Bountiful Birds is a wonderfully unique and visually stunning title that represents a breath of fresh air for classic slot enthusiasts. M2 has done an outstanding job of avoiding a traditional, generic free spins structure and replacing it with a highly interactive, color-coded collection system. The persistent excitement of watching the birds grow with every collected bag keeps the base game highly engaging, and the potential to combine up to three features creates immense replay value. The crisp sound design of singing tropical birds and rustling leaves complements the beautiful presentation. If you appreciate feature-heavy slots with original mechanics, this game is an absolute must-play.
