Gameplay and Features

The main draw of this slot is the Hells Bells feature. This is activated when the Dante symbol lands on reel 1 or 5 alongside at least one special reward symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens, each reward symbol on the screen awards a money value or one of the fixed jackpots. This mechanic keeps the base game exciting, as you are always looking for Dante to appear and collect the rewards on the screen. The anticipation builds with every spin that features a reward symbol, knowing that Dante could land and gather all those prizes at once.

Additionally, the game includes a Devil's Luck feature. Even a single Pitchfork Scatter symbol can trigger additional Scatters to appear on the grid, turning a near miss into a full feature trigger. Landing three or more Pitchfork Scatters initiates the Free Spins game. Three Scatters award 8 Free Spins, four Scatters award 12 Free Spins, and five Scatters award 18 Free Spins.

During the Free Spins game, the reels expand to a 3-6-6-6-3 layout. This expansion increases the grid to 1,944 ways to win, greatly increasing your chances of a large return. The expanded grid allows for more symbols to land, creating more opportunities for winning combinations and feature triggers. If you want to jump straight into the action, there is also the option to play the feature directly. This allows you to access 8, 12, or 18 Free Spins without waiting for the Scatters to land naturally, giving you immediate access to the expanded grid and all the potential it holds.

Our Verdict

This title is a lively and enjoyable take on the underworld theme. The dual structure, featuring both a traditional Free Spins round and the popular Hells Bells mechanic, keeps the gameplay engaging from start to finish. The visuals are crisp, the animations are fluid, and the fitting music certainly helps set the mood for a fun social casino session.

The fact that the Hells Bells feature offers fixed jackpots adds an element of excitement to every reward symbol that lands. I appreciate that Evoplay has made the grid expand during the Free Spins game, providing a clear goal when you enter the feature. The low-med volatility paired with a maximum win of x8,330 your play value makes this a very solid game overall with a wide range of mechanics that will appeal to many players.
