Gameplay and Features

The main draw of this slot is the WILD SIDE™ mechanic and the Free Spins feature. The WILD SIDE™ feature activates when two Wild Buffalo symbols land on the same row. When this happens, the Wild Buffalo symbols expand sideways across the reels. This creates a stampede of Wilds that can lead to significant rewards. This expanding wild feature keeps the base game highly entertaining, as any spin has the potential to turn multiple positions wild.

The Free Spins round is triggered by collecting Gold Coin Scatter symbols. The game features a unique progression meter with eight different levels. You start with seven free spins. Every time you collect three Gold Coin Scatters during your gameplay, you advance to the next level on the meter. Each new level offers a higher number of free spins and increased multipliers. If you reach the eighth level, you can enjoy 20 free spins with a 5x multiplier. This progression system rewards extended play and gives you a clear goal to work towards.

Landing four Gold Coin Scatter symbols on the reels at the same time will instantly trigger the Free Spins round based on your current progression level. During the Free Spins round, the entire sixth reel transforms into a Sticky Wild Buffalo. This reel remains wild for the duration of the feature, greatly increasing your chances of forming winning combinations. If you want to jump straight into the action, there is also the option to play the feature directly.

Our Verdict

This title is a lively and enjoyable take on the North American wildlife theme. The dual structure featuring the WILD SIDE™ mechanic and the progression-based Free Spins round keeps the gameplay engaging. The visuals are crisp and colorful, and the upbeat music certainly helps set the mood. The fact that the Free Spins feature offers a progression meter adds an element of excitement to every Gold Coin Scatter that lands.

I appreciate that Revolver Gaming has made the Sticky Wild reel a central part of the free spins, providing a clear goal when you enter the round. This is a very solid game overall with a wide range of features.
