Gameplay and Features

The main draw of this slot is the highly engaging hold and win style feature. This special round activates when you land six or more of the Blue Moon Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels during the base game. When this happens, you are immediately transported to a special screen where the triggering symbols lock in place. You start with three respins, and the goal is to land as many additional Scatter symbols as possible on the open grid spaces.

Each new symbol that lands also locks onto the board and resets your spin count back to three. This creates a highly engaging loop of action that keeps anticipation high. The locked symbols carry various prize multipliers or one of the fixed jackpots. You might uncover a Mini, Major, or Mega jackpot during these respins. If you manage to fill all 15 positions on the screen before running out of spins, you win the largest prize, the Grand Jackpot of x5,000 your spin value.

This special structure provides a clear goal and an escalating sense of reward as you gather more moons. If you want to jump straight into the action without waiting for the Scatters to land naturally, there is also the option to play the feature instead of spinning the base game. This flexibility makes the game highly appealing to different play styles and ensures you can enjoy the most thrilling parts of the slot at your own pace.

Our Verdict

This title is a fantastic take on classic European folklore and fantasy themes. The specialized feature structure keeps the gameplay incredibly engaging for long sessions, as there is always a new multiplier or jackpot to look forward to. The visuals are charming and highly detailed, and the atmospheric music sets a fun, slightly spooky mood from the very first spin. Integrating the popular hold and respin mechanics provides a truly excellent twist compared to standard games.

I appreciate that Spinomenal has made the mechanics feel fresh while retaining the eerie charm of the original title. The 25 winlines ensure a steady flow of action during the base game, and the locking symbols add a pleasant surprise when you least expect it.

The fact that the maximum Grand Jackpot is achievable by filling the entire screen provides a very clear objective. This is a very solid release with a wide range of features, making it a perfect fit for players who enjoy dynamic gameplay and chasing massive potential returns.
