Gameplay and Bonuses

A massive draw of this slot is the progressive Free Spins Journey. Landing three or more Full Moon Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels triggers the main free spins feature. Instead of a standard round, this game takes you on a journey with four different stages. Every time you trigger the free spins, you advance to the next stage on the map, keeping the action fresh and highly rewarding over multiple sessions.

The first stage is the Winning Symbols Respin. During this feature, any winning combination triggers a free respin while the winning symbols remain locked in place. If new matching symbols land, the process repeats. The second stage introduces the Shifting Wild. A fully stacked Wild symbol appears and shifts one reel to the right with each spin, helping to connect lines across the grid. The third stop features Expanding Wilds. Any Wild that lands on the grid will automatically expand to cover the entire reel, drastically increasing your chances of forming a win. The fourth and final stage brings Extra Wilds, where the legendary Phoenix adds a sticky Wild to the center of the grid for the duration of the spins. Once you complete all four stages, the journey loops back to the beginning.

In the base game, you can also benefit from the Stacked Wild Rising feature. If a Wild symbol lands on the third reel, it can trigger a series of up to five respins. With each respin, the Wild symbol shifts up one position until it leaves the grid. If you prefer to jump straight to the main event, you have the option to play the feature instead of waiting for the Full Moon Scatters to land naturally.

Our Verdict

This title is an excellent take on classic European folklore and fantasy themes. The multi-stage Free Spins Journey keeps the gameplay incredibly engaging for long sessions, as there is always a new modifier to look forward to.

The visuals are charming and highly detailed, and the atmospheric music sets a fun, slightly spooky mood from the very first spin. Allowing players to progress through a map provides a truly unique twist compared to standard games.

I appreciate that Spinomenal has made the mechanics feel fresh by combining multiple features into one journey. The 50 winlines ensure a steady flow of action during the base game, and the Stacked Wild Rising feature adds a pleasant surprise when you least expect it.

This is a very solid release with a wide range of features, making it a perfect fit for players who enjoy story-driven progression and dynamic gameplay.
