Gameplay and Bonuses

The core excitement of this sequel revolves around its engaging extra features, specifically the Pearl Respins and the thrilling Pot Feature. Throughout your standard gameplay, you will notice shiny Pearl symbols landing on the reels. These pearls play a massive role in both of the main features and keep the base game highly engaging.

The Pearl Respins feature is activated when you land three or more Pearl scatter symbols anywhere on the grid during a single spin. When this happens, you are taken to a special screen where the triggering Pearls lock in place, and all other symbols are removed from the board. You start with three respins, and the goal is to land as many additional Pearls as possible. Every new Pearl that lands will also lock onto the grid and reset your spin counter back to three. These symbols carry various multipliers and values that accumulate as you play. The feature continues until you run out of respins or fill all 15 positions. Filling the entire screen automatically awards the Mega Jackpot, giving you a clear target during the round. The mechanics here are similar to classic Hold and Win style games, keeping the suspense high with every respin.

Adding to the excitement is the random Pot Feature. Every Pearl that lands in the base game contributes to two treasure chests, one red and one blue, located beside the reels. Collecting enough of these pearls can randomly trigger a fun pick-and-click mini-game. In this round, you are presented with 15 closed pearls. You select them one by one to reveal jackpot symbols. Matching three identical symbols awards one of four fixed prizes, which include the Minor, Major, Maxi, or Mega Jackpot. If you prefer to jump straight to the biggest moments of the game without waiting for the natural triggers, you can opt to play the feature directly from the main screen.

Our Verdict

This title is an outstanding follow-up that takes everything players loved about the original and enhances it with bigger potential and refined mechanics. The visual presentation of the underwater kingdom is crisp, colorful, and highly engaging. The aesthetic is perfectly complemented by a soothing yet exciting soundtrack that matches the pace of the game. Swintt has done an excellent job integrating the Pearl collection mechanic seamlessly into the base game, giving every spin a sense of progression towards the random Pot Feature.

The Pearl Respins feature provides that classic locking-symbol excitement, and the fact that filling the grid awards the Mega Jackpot offers a highly rewarding goal. We appreciate how the game balances its high volatility with multiple ways to access the jackpots, whether through the respin grid or the pick-and-click mini-game. The impressive max win potential of x6,000 your spin value provides a great target to aim for during your session. This is an incredibly solid game overall with a wide range of features that will surely appeal to fans of marine mythology and engaging collection mechanics alike.
