Gameplay and Bonuses

The main attraction of this slot is the Coin Blitz Hold & Win feature. It is a brilliant variation of the popular Hold & Win mechanic. This round is activated when you land five or more gold coin symbols anywhere on the grid during a single spin. When this happens, you are transported to a special screen where the triggering symbols lock in place. You start with three respins, and your primary goal is to land as many additional coin symbols as possible.

Each new symbol that lands also locks into its position and resets your spin count back to three. During this feature, you can land special Boost symbols that multiply the values of existing symbols on the board. You might also trigger the Grid Expand modifier. This incredible feature can increase the standard 5x5 grid all the way up to a massive 8x8 layout. This gives you room to collect up to 64 symbols and chase the maximum prize.

In the base game, you can experience the thrilling Flaming Respins. This feature can trigger randomly on any winning spin. One symbol type locks in place while the rest of the reels respin. The respins continue as long as new matching symbols or multiplier icons land. At the end of the sequence, the total of all multipliers is applied to your overall win.

The game also features a Persistence Pot. It collects bonus symbols during regular play. On any spin, this pot can randomly burst to add extra symbols to the reels and instantly award the Hold & Win feature. If you prefer to jump straight into the action without waiting, there is also an option to play the feature directly from the main screen.

Our Verdict

This title is a fantastic addition to the popular fruits and classic theme categories. The combination of retro symbols and modern mechanics keeps every spin highly engaging and full of anticipation. The visuals are incredibly crisp, and the glowing casino background creates a captivating atmosphere that feels like a premium gaming experience.

I really appreciate that Booming Games included the Grid Expand feature. It provides a clear and exciting goal when you enter the bonus round. Watching the grid grow up to an 8x8 size creates some spectacular potential on the winlines. It transforms an ordinary bonus into a highly rewarding outcome.

The Flaming Respins add a great layer of excitement to the base game as well. Overall, 64 Gold Coins Hold and Win is a bold, down-to-earth, and incredibly fun game. Fans of dynamic social casino features will thoroughly enjoy spinning these reels and collecting those golden symbols.
