Gameplay and Features

The true excitement of 4 African Drums lies in its layered and innovative features, which offer a fresh spin on the beloved Hold and Win mechanic. The entire experience is built around the collection of Drum and Diamond symbols.

Drum Metres and Feature Triggers During the base game, special colored Drum symbols can land on the reels. When they do, they are collected into the corresponding large drum metre located above the grid. Filling any of these four metres will instantly trigger the Hold and Win feature.

Diamond Collection and Master Pot Feature In addition to the Drums, you will also collect shimmering Diamond symbols. These are gathered into a pot next to the reels. At any point during the base game, the collection of a Diamond can randomly trigger the Master Pot feature, which gives you a direct chance to spin a wheel and win one of the game's five fixed jackpots.

Hold and Win Modifiers Once you enter the Hold and Win round, you are awarded 3 respins on a special grid where only special symbols land. This is where things get truly exciting. Depending on which drum triggered the feature, a special modifier is activated:

Collect Feature: A green drum symbol appears and collects all other values currently on the screen, adding them to its own total.
Extra Feature: The entire grid expands from a 5x3 layout to a much larger 5x5 grid, unlocking more positions for special symbols to land.
Multi Feature: A red drum symbol multiplies the value of several other symbols on the grid, significantly boosting your total reward.

These features can also combine if you manage to fill multiple drum metres at once, leading to incredibly dynamic and high-rewarding sequences. The jackpots you can win include the Mini (15x), Minor (30x), Major (100x), Grand (1,000x), and the massive Extra Grand (2,000x). For those who want to jump straight into the action, you can also use the option to play the feature directly.

The collection systems for both Drums and Diamonds ensure that every single spin feels meaningful.
