If you like your slots with a little kick, this spicy sequel from 3 Oaks Gaming delivers big flavor. 3 Super Hot Chillies: Hold and Win takes the Mexican fiesta theme and turns the heat up on the bonus action. This game keeps things simple with a familiar 5x3 grid, but the main fun comes from collecting colored chilis that actually power up your bonus round. It's a medium volatility title, which means things stay active as you chase those big fixed jackpots.

No doubt you will be familiar with the original 3 Hot Chillies slot from the same provider, well this is like that one. Except super-er.

How to Play 3 Super Hot Chillies: Hold and Win

The game is set on a classic 5x3 grid with 25 fixed winning lines. To start, you just select how much you want to play and hit the spin button. The real visual treats here are the three colored meters—Green, Yellow, and Red—sitting above the reels, which fill up as the corresponding Chilli Bonus Symbols land. Filling those meters is the whole point of the main game because each one unlocks a powerful extra during the bonus.

Gameplay and Bonuses

The main excitement happens when you land six or more Chilli Bonus Symbols, launching the Hold and Win Bonus Game. This round is completely loaded because each filled meter activates a special feature: the Double modifier opens a whole second set of reels, doubling your collection area; the Extra feature gives you four respins instead of the standard three; and the Multiplier modifier adds up to x5 multipliers to random prize coins. Hitting all three meters at once sends you to a supercharged bonus where the Super Wheel spins first, guaranteeing you a strong start like extra bonus symbols or an instant fixed Jackpot. If available in your location, you can choose to play the feature directly.

Our Verdict

This slot is genuinely fun because it gives you so much control over the bonuses before they even start. The idea of activating three distinct modifiers within the Hold and Win feature is a clever change, and the Double modifier opening up that second grid is a real game-changer for prize potential. I found the medium volatility kept the session moving quickly, providing a steady feed of action that makes chasing those fully charged Chilli Meters satisfying.
