How to Play 3 Pots of Egypt

Navigating the temples is simple on this 5-reel, 3-row layout. To secure a win, you need to align three or more matching symbols on any of the 25 win-lines, starting from the leftmost reel. The symbols feature classic Egyptian icons like scarabs, golden eyes, and various gods, alongside colorful card suits.

The Pharaoh acts as the Wild symbol, helping you form winning lines by substituting for other basic symbols. The real focus, however, is on the colored coins. Every time a Red, Green, or Blue coin lands, it flies into the corresponding pot above the reels. This collection system can randomly trigger the main feature on any spin where a coin appears. Gameplay and Bonuses

The Hold and Win bonus is the heart of this game. Triggered by landing six or more coins or randomly through the pot collection, you get three respins to fill the grid. Depending on which pots were active when the round started, you get special modifiers:

Double Feature (Red): This adds a second 5x3 grid to the screen, doubling your winning area.
Mystery Feature (Green): This transforms special symbols into Jackpots or high-value coins.
Collect Feature (Blue): This symbol gathers all the current values on the board into one spot, clearing space for more coins.

Filling all 15 spots on a grid awards the Grand Jackpot of 5,000x. The game also features a Free Spins round where only top-tier symbols appear. If you want to skip the desert heat, you can use the 'play the feature' option to go directly into the bonus game with your choice of modifiers.

Our Verdict

3 Pots of Egypt is a very polished addition to the 3 Oaks Gaming catalog. I personally found the "Double" pot feature to be the most exciting, as playing on two grids at once really cranks up the tension during the respins. The graphics are sharp and the transition into the bonus rounds is incredibly smooth.

Players on community forums have commented that the combination of all three pots is where the true potential lies, though it can be quite rare to trigger. While the 95.64% RTP is slightly below some other titles, the variety of the bonus games makes it feel very fair. I think this slot is perfect for players who want a reliable adventure theme but with a modern, feature-rich twist that keeps things unpredictable. It’s a solid, high-quality title that offers a lot of depth for fans of the genre.
