How to Play 3 Merry Pines: Hold & Win

The game takes place on a 5-reel, 3-row grid featuring 25 fixed winlines. Getting started with slots at PlayFame is completely straightforward. You simply select your preferred play value per spin and hit the start button to set the reels in motion. Winning combinations are created by matching three or more identical symbols across one of the active winlines. This is calculated reading from the leftmost reel to the right.

To enhance your session, there is an autoplay function available for those who prefer a hands-free approach. This allows you to set a predetermined number of spins to run automatically at your chosen play value. It is a convenient tool for players who want to sit back and watch the festive symbols fall into place.

Gameplay and Features

The main attraction of this N2 title is the Hold and Win reward round. This feature activates when six or more coin symbols land anywhere on the grid during a single spin. Once activated, the triggering coins lock in place. You are then awarded three respins. The goal is to land more coins in the empty spaces. Each new coin that lands will lock in place and reset your respin count back to three.

What makes this feature stand out is the inclusion of the three special pine trees located above the reels. Each tree corresponds to a different modifier that can enhance your coin values. One pine tree might trigger a multiplier to boost your existing coin values. Another acts as a collector, gathering all the current coin values on the screen to significantly increase your total reward. These added elements keep the respin feature fresh and full of surprises on every attempt.

During the respins, you also have the chance to land fixed jackpot coins. These fixed jackpots provide an excellent target during the respin rounds. The smaller jackpots appear more frequently to keep your balance ticking over. The Major and Grand jackpots are the ultimate rewards for dedicated players. Filling the entire screen with symbols or gathering the right modifiers is the best way to secure a massive reward.

If you want to jump straight into the action without waiting, there is an option to play the feature instead. This allows you to bypass the base game and instantly trigger the Hold and Win round for a set value, plunging you right into the heart of the celebration.

Wintable and Symbols

Before you begin your journey through the snow-covered forest, it is helpful to familiarize yourself with the symbols and their potential rewards. As you look across the grid, you will spot an array of beautifully animated items that perfectly capture the festive mood.
