How to Play 3 Carts of Gold: Hold and Win

The game plays out on a standard 5-reel, 3-row grid with 25 fixed winlines. To get started, simply choose your play value and hit the spin button. Winning combinations are formed by landing three or more matching symbols on a winline, starting from the leftmost reel.

The reels are packed with classic mining gear, including a Bag of Gold, a Lantern, and a Pickaxe, alongside the standard high-card ranks (A, K, Q, J). The Miner acts as the Wild symbol, substituting for all regular symbols to help complete winning lines. Keep an eye out for the Scatter symbol, which triggers the Free Spins feature, and the glowing Bonus symbols (Gold Nuggets and Gems) that are key to unlocking the main Hold and Win feature.

Gameplay and Features

The highlight of this slot is the Hold and Win feature, which you can play by landing six or more Bonus symbols (Gold Nuggets or Gems) anywhere on the reels. These symbols lock in place, and you are awarded three re-spins. Every time a new Bonus symbol lands, it resets your re-spin count to three.

What sets this game apart is the 3 Carts mechanic, where specific colored gems trigger unique modifiers:

Green Cart (Boost): Boosts the value of existing symbols on the grid.
Red Cart (Mystery): Reveals high-value prizes or one of the fixed jackpots.
Blue Cart (Collect): Gathers all values currently on the screen for a massive instant prize.

During the Hold and Win round, you can also land symbols corresponding to the fixed jackpots: Mini (15x), Minor (50x), and Major (150x). If you manage to fill all 15 positions on the grid, you win the Grand Jackpot, worth x5,000 your spin value.

Additionally, landing three Scatter symbols in the base game triggers the Free Spins feature, giving you 8 free spins. During this round, the chances of triggering the Hold and Win feature are increased, adding extra excitement to your session.
