How to Play 25 Cookies: Hit The Bonus

Playing 25 Cookies: Hit The Bonus is a fresh experience compared to standard casino-style games. The action unfolds on a 5x5 grid, but there are no standard winlines to worry about. Instead, your main objective is to trigger the Bonus Game.

To start, simply choose your play value and spin the reels. The base game focuses entirely on landing special symbols. To activate the Hold and Win feature, you must land five symbols of any kind on the middle row (row 3). Sticky Bonus symbols can help you achieve this by locking in place on the middle row until the feature triggers, keeping you on the edge of your seat with every spin.

Gameplay and Features

The heart of this game is the Hold and Win Bonus Game.

Once triggered by filling the middle row, you are transported to a new screen where the triggering symbols stick, and you are granted three re-spins.

Hold and Win Mechanics

During the bonus round, only special symbols appear. Every time a new symbol lands, it resets your re-spin count to three. The round continues until you run out of spins or fill the entire grid.

Special Symbols

Bonus Symbols: These delicious cookies carry multipliers ranging from x1 to x9.
Sticky Bonus: These appear in the base game and stay on the middle row to help trigger the bonus. In the bonus game, they act as standard symbols.
Jackpot Symbols: Look out for Mini, Minor, and Major jackpot cookies, which award instant prizes.
Mystery Symbols: These red gift boxes reveal either a Bonus, Jackpot, or Boost symbol at the end of the spin.
Mystery Jackpot: These golden boxes guarantee a reveal of one of the jackpot prizes.
Boost Symbols: These powerful icons collect the values of all Bonus and Jackpot symbols currently on the reels, adding them to your total for massive potential wins.

Grand Jackpot

If you manage to fill all 25 positions on the grid with symbols, you win the Grand Jackpot, worth a staggering x5,000 your play value. Combined with other symbol wins, this can lead to the game's maximum prize of x10,000.

For those who want to skip straight to the sweets, you can play the feature instantly, allowing you to jump right into the Hold and Win action.

Symbol Values

Since this game relies on the "Hit the Bonus" mechanic, there are no standard symbols in the base game. Instead, wins are generated through the special symbols in the Bonus Game:

Bonus Cookie

Awards multipliers from x1 to x9.

Mini Jackpot

Awards the Mini Jackpot prize.

Minor Jackpot

Awards the Minor Jackpot prize.

Major Jackpot

Awards the Major Jackpot prize.

Grand Jackpot

Awarded for filling all 25 grid positions (x5,000).

Boost Symbol

Our Verdict

Playson has baked up something special with 25 Cookies: Hit The Bonus. The removal of standard symbols in the base game creates a focused, high-tension experience where every spin is about chasing that middle-row trigger. We love the addition of the Boost and Mystery symbols, which add layers of strategy and surprise to the bonus round. The visuals are crisp and appetizing, and the potential for a x10,000 max win makes this a cookie jar worth reaching into. It’s a fantastic choice for fans of the Hold and Win mechanic who want a festive twist.
