How to Play 1st of the Irish

Playing 1st of the Irish is different from traditional slots due to its grid layout. You play on a 6x5 screen where the goal is to land clusters of 5 or more identical symbols. These clusters can be formed horizontally or vertically. When a winning cluster is formed, the symbols disappear, and new ones drop down to fill the empty spaces. This cascading effect allows for multiple wins from a single spin.

To start, you simply select your play value and press the spin button. There are no winlines to adjust. As you play, you will notice five meters on the side of the screen. Each meter corresponds to a specific symbol: the Pipe, Beer, Shamrock, Hat, and Rainbow. Every time you land a winning cluster of one of these symbols, it fills the respective meter. Filling a meter triggers a special feature, adding layers of excitement to the base game. The Leprechaun acts as the Wild symbol and substitutes for all other symbols to help form winning clusters.

Gameplay and Features

The heart of this game lies in its five unique meters. You need to collect enough symbols in a single spin sequence (including cascades) to fill a meter. Each meter offers a different reward feature:

Pipe Meter: When filled, this feature releases a random multiplier. The multiplier is applied to your winnings for that sequence.
Beer Meter: This feature transforms a 3x3 block of symbols on the grid into a single matching symbol type, guaranteeing a significant cluster.
Shamrock Meter: Filling this meter adds four Sticky Wilds to the grid. These Wilds have "lives" and stay in place for multiple cascades until their lives run out.
Hat Meter: This activates a Wild Reel. One of the columns turns completely Wild, boosting your chances of connecting clusters across the grid.
Rainbow Meter: This is the key to the Free Spins feature. Filling the Rainbow meter awards 12 free spins.

During the Free Spins round, the excitement ramps up. The meters remain active, but the Rainbow meter changes its function. Instead of retriggering spins immediately, filling the Rainbow meter during the feature increases a global multiplier. This multiplier starts at x2 and grows with each completion of the meter, offering the potential for substantial returns.

Wintable

The wintable in 1st of the Irish is dynamic, rewarding larger clusters with higher prizes. The symbols are all thematic, fitting perfectly with the Irish setting.

Leprechaun (Wild): Substitutes for all symbols.
Rainbow: The highest value symbol.
Hat: A high value symbol that also triggers the Wild Reel.
Shamrock: A medium value symbol linked to Sticky Wilds.
Beer: A medium value symbol that triggers the 3x3 block.
Pipe: The lower value symbol that awards multipliers.
